What Causes A Sharp, Shooting Pain On The Head?
Hey I have a headache on the bottom left side of my head. When I move certain ways or cough it gets worse. Like a sharp shooting pain. It doesn t constantly hurt. It just shoots pain every now and then. It has been on and off for a couple of weeks and has been pretty much non stop for 2 days now. My neck hurts also. I m a 19 year old female.

The symptoms seem to be related to migraine. I recommend using a painkiller such as Ibuprofen 400 mg three times a day for relief. If the symptoms continue you can use prescription painkillers such as Triptans or consult a neurologist for further evaluation.
