What Causes A Ridge On The Scalp?

Hi I m a 19 years old young woman and I noticed a small indentation on the top of my head in the middle a couple of months ago but I thought maybe it s always been there but recently I ve been having a lot of head aches and I rubbed my head the other night and noticed that the indentation has grown longer down towards the back of my head and a little wider... I ve also been forgetful a lot more lately... If someone could help me just a little with an possible explanation I d greatly appreciate it! Kind regards,

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Dear Madam, thank you for your consultation.after carefuly going through your case history I presume the indentation is a external feature of some structural deficiency of your brain.as you have informed that you have been forgetful a lot more lately ,this can be due to any disease of brain which is causing indentation.but you know all these are guesswork from my clinical experience.to know the exact reason behind this you should go for a CT Scan and MRI of brain.so please see a neurologist and I believe he will ask you to do these tests .my best wishes for you.thank you.
