What Causes A Red Spot On The Scrotum?

I have a dark red spot on my scrotum, a bit lighter than the color of blood. it isnt raised, it doesnt hurt or itch in fact i didnt even notice it until i visually saw it. it is about the size of this letter - O . it is around an area i used a trimmer on my testicles and i accidentally cut myself. could blood be pooling under my skin? or is it more likely to be an std?

Based on the facts of your query, you seem to suffer from-
Bruise with abrasive injury to scrotal skin-from the trimmer shaving of the scrotum.
This would heal in few days time with antiseptic creams applied locally.
Therefore unless you get the HIV sex contact in a weeks time from this abrasive injury to scrotum, there are no chances of you having risk of HIV and is only an obsessive anxiety of yours for the STD or HIV,which is mostly google induced exposure of yours,mostly.
So don't worry at all.
