What Causes A Red Spot And Bruise On Thumb Knuckle?

I just noticed a red spot on my thumb knuckle that looks like a bruise but I did not injury it and do not feel any pain or swelling etc as a normal bruise would. Can you explain what this is? And how I got it? It was not there this morning but I m noticing it now and thought it was a stain but it proved not to be.-jane

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, if this does not cause any symptoms like pain, burning, swelling, discomfort then this is nothing to worry because it may be some nonspecific one but it need to be kept under observation for any changes in case of this or if this remains there as it is then it need to be examined clinically hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day
I find this answer helpful
