What Causes A Red Circle On The Ankle?
i have red circle on my ankle, don t what i did, it does not hurt when i stand on,but does when i m lying down. been their about 3 days. doesn t hurt when standing on it, but does when i m sitting or lying down could it be a blood clot, should i go emergency room.

Hi.
As per your case history you are having a purpuric rash.
My treatment advice is -
1. Don't scratch the lesion as it may worsen the condition.
2. Apply a soothing lotion like calamine lotion on affected region twice daily.
3. Take a vitamin c supplement once daily for 3 months.
4. Other treatment options are oral antibiotics, topical steroid cream given only after consulting a dermatologist.
