What Causes A Recurrent Lump On The Foot?

Hi, I have a lump that comes and goes on the top of my foot. When it is there I can push on it, side to side with no pain, but I cannot push down directly on it. It goes away and then appears again. It is right on the top almost where the top of my foot connects to my ankle, hope that makes sense :)

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

It could be benign soft tissue lesion like a lipoma. To rule out nature of lesion FNAC should be done. It can be excised after FNAC report if needed. If you can post a photo of a lump than a further comment can be easy.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Parth Goswami,
General & Family Physician
