I have a small hole on the back of my throat at one side, there is tiny bits of yellow gooey stuff I keep struggling to pick out with tweezers, & it realy smells! I have good oral hygiene so finding this disturbing.. Also every couple of weeks it s as if something flares up & that side of my throat becomes realy painful for a couple days.. Could I have throat cancer?
I understand your concern and most likely you are seeing white spots on your tonsils which are situated at the posterior part of throat. As you are not having any pain means you are having chronic follicular tonsillitis.
Whenever it gets flair up patient feels pain in throat and irritation as you are having from time to time.
Here I would like to advice you to consult your ENT doctor for examination and treatment because if it is chronic tonsillitis than that have various complications.
Thanks for consulting HCM.
