What Causes A Purple Discolored Wart On The Penis?

Hi went to the doctor 3 weeks ago about a wart on my penis.He prescribed me XERESE which i was to apply 5 times a day for 5 days.I did that and nothing really happened.There was no change so i left it alone up until 3 days ago when i applied it again.Now the wart is purplish and an area around it is a little swollen as well there is discomfort now that wasnt there before.Doctor is not in today but i will go see him tomorrow but not sure i want to because of maybe he misdiagnosed this?It is in a very sensitive area im worried about infection and such please help.

* A thorough evaluation with dermatologist and further care is necessary to get faster healing.

* Primarily can use aloe vera gel for best results.
