ENT Specialist 's  Response
Hi

Welcome in HCM

I understand your concern and here I would like to tell you that popping sound in ear usually comes from nasopharynx. Whenever there is inflammatory pathology going on in nasopharynx, the inflammatory oedema obstruct the opening of eustachian tube (tubular connection between throat and ear).

You may take now-

1- Steam inhalation.

2- Anti inflammatory.

3- Decongestant and anti histaminics.

4- Antibiotic (preferably broad spectrum).

Probably above answers your query if still any doubt is there you may re consult us.

Thanks.
