General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Since it has been there for 12 years and is not hurting most probably it can be a lipoma. It is an accumulation of lipids. It doesn't need treatment and is not dangerous.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Olgeta Xhufka , General & Family Physician
