What Causes A Painless Bump On The Penis?

Hello i got a little bump on my penis ,i can feel touching my middle a vein and have a little bump no pains no problems. I went to a urologist doctor and he checked me out said my tunica was forced told me is a minor problem no risk recommended me sexual break 2 weeks.. I can feel it while touching my penis with my fingers is like a harder vein. Im curious how easy this tunica can break if i dont bend my penis . Is my tunica more sensible right now? Will it be like before? I dont have any tear,my erections are like before. Im scared to break it ,I wanna know if is hard to break it and if my penis tunica albuginea will be back like before (normal vein no bumps) . Normally how much time would take to heal itself and be everything like before.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

Painless lump on penis which is barely palpable and not symptomatic can be due to the following reasons:
- As told by your Urologist it can be forced tunica. The force on tunica can cause local oedema and lump formation.
- Such a thing usually gets over by 3 weeks.- Earlier if assisted by oral anti-inflammatory and steroids, Amitriptyline to avoid morning erection, no sex.
- Can be a small sweat gland cyst, this will be mobile and non-tender.
- Valve in a vein can be palpable, normal, natural hence not to be worried about.
- Since you have no symptoms just follow the advise of your Urologist and be assured.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. T. Chandrakant, General Surgeon
