What Causes A Painful Lump With Clear Discharge On The Big Toe?
I have bump on top of my big toe. When I first noticed it I thought it might be a sticker or something, after a pin prick I squeezed it and a clear super glue like substance came out. It has grown somewhat over the last three years and now is painful on occasion

A painful lump or boil that is present over a long duration should be investigated for diabetes.The wound should be sent for culture and sensitivity if there is fluid or pus .Any lump like swelling that grows should be biopsied to identify the nature of swelling whether it is benign.
