What Causes A Niggling Pain Behind The Left Breast?

Hi, my names Dawn. I have a continuous, niggling pain behind my left breast. I have suffered with COPD for about 6or 7yrs and have suffered with several chest infections recently of which I ve been treated with anti-biotics. Please can you advise what may be causing the pain. Thankyou.

hi Dawn,
welcome to health care magic,

I can certainly understand your concern towards your breast pain , the most common reason could be due to gas trapped in the stomach, ie gastritic pain, as you have treated with antibiotics, which could be the side effect of those, if so you can start on omeprazole 40 mg before breakfast

but there is every possibility that could be due to chest infection as you have already suffered from COPD, SO I would suggest you to get a chest Xray and get it thoroughly evaluated, hope this information would help you

post your further questions if any
thank you
