What Causes A Lump On The Nostril?

My daughter (8) had a small lump on the outer side of her nostril. It was flesh colored, not very large, and the closest comparison I have is a small water blister. It opened in a day and is an ugly open sore. She then developed one on the opposite nostril, and a very small one between her nose and upper lip. I researched it online and viewed TONS of photos of all things imaginable, and don t see a match. She had a runny nose last week, unsure if it s related. Otherwise there has been no known exposure to anything. She doesn t mention they are painful but they are open crusty scab in appearance at present

Hello,

The narrated features of nostril lump indicate a benign issue with nasal polyp formation, usually, the reasons are not known specifically unless chronic nasal mucosa congestion in rhinitis cases in some cases.
