I punched a wall and bruised my knuckles and then not so long after I punched another hard surface the knuckles seemed to go in but now looks fine it has been 3 weeks however there is still a soft lump in between my knuckle and my movement seems restricted when trying to clench my hand, what is this ? And should I be worried?

Physical Therapist or Physiotherapist, Harsh Swarup's Response
Hello and welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
It seems like post injury swelling so try doing hot therapy and cold therapy. Dip your hands in hot water for 3 minutes and then dip in cold water for 1 minute and do some finger movements when immersed in water. And do some hand movements in a day and do it for a week. It would help you. If this does not help, then visit an orthopaedic. You might require some medical assistance.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Harsh Swarup
