What Causes A Lump And Discomfort In Ankle Upon Walking Post Injury From An Accident?

i had cracked my bones around ankle due to accident.It has been 4mnths,a hard lump that feels like bones is below my ankle ball.I dnt feel any pain even by putting pressure on it, however excess walking or putting pressure on leg causes irritation there and hot water/oil msg can only reduce the pain then.Do i need to worry about it or is it the normal healing process.Thankyou.

Welcome to healthcaremagic.com. I can see your concern, however, in light of prior injury to that site,. your bones, and cartilage are remodeling and this will be this way for a while. As long as the discomfort is tolerable I wouldn't worry. Hope this helps. Good luck
