What Causes A Lump And Dark Discoloration On Leg And Ankle After Injury?

I was hit by a line drive softball 2 weeks ago and the lump is still there. My leg and ankle also turned black and blue and swelled. The main lump has gone down somewhat but is still quite large.i was hit a couple of inches below the knee on the front part.Why and what to do?

Hi,
It seems that you had big hematoma on the side at the time of injury.
Gradually it gravitated down.
Now it seems that hematoma reduced and encapsulated.
Apply ice pack on the part for few days.
Apply thrombophob cream on the part.
Gradually it will be absorbed.
Ok and take care.
