What Causes A Lump And Burning Sensation In Abdomen After An Injury?
My boyfriend was in a car accident about a week ago. He toned a car that had run a stop sign. He has a huge bruise mark in the shape of his seatbelt imprint. He was checked out at urgent care and was told he probably had a bruised or cracked rib. He is now feeling a burning sensation in his belly, and he feels a small lump in his belly, right where the seatbelt is. My question is, could this have caused a tear such as a hernia in that spot?
First of all thanks to god that after such big accident, he is surviving very good. To rule out that whether any bruise is present on rib or not and if rib is broken, go through the Chest X-ray(PA-view).
Also go for USG-abdomen, X-ray abdomen for diagnosis of lump on belly. After getting all the reports please share them on healthcare magic for proper diagnosis and treatment if needed.
After doing all these things, I hope your boyfriend will get well sooner and please share your review about my answer on healthcare magic.
Take Care, Thank You.
