What Causes A Large Swollen Skin Tag On Groin?

Hello Doctor,I have been having a skin tag since 2 years in my groin area but suddenly yesterday I found out it has been swollen to a size of a berry. It looks like one half has been filled with fluid. So help needed on further steps to be taken.

Thank-you user for your query
as per your mentioning about skin tags all I can say is that skin tags are absolute harmless, non cancerous conditions. It should not be confused with std also. It is generally caused by HPV virus and yes sometimes due to its location in inguinal area it undergoes friction and becomes inflammed or infected. All you need to do is to consult any skin specialist as they he will brief you the techniques available to remove it such as electro cautery, excision, freezing it up with liquid nitrogen, and even tying it with thread. You can choose whatever is preferred by you and available at your place.
god bless
