What Causes A Large Circular Bump Under The Eyebrow?
I have a large circular bump just under my eyebrow that has swollen over the last few months. I thought it was a pimple at first and tried to pop it, but it only got harder and larger. Do you have any idea what it could be? It doesn't cause any pain, but it's just getting to be about the size of a marble.
I have gone through your query and can understand..
As per your complain a small bump under the eyebrow might be a Dermoid Cyst or a Sebaceous Cyst.. As these are painless swellings and can grow to considerable size, so the symptoms in your case seems consistent with any of them.. I would suggest you to consult a general surgeon and get evaluated and he can do a proper clinical evaluation and in case of dermoid cyst or sebaceous surgical removal will be done followed by a course of antibiotics and painkillers.. Do not try to pop it or press over it as it can cause inflammation of the overlying skin and can become painful and cause discomfort..
Hope this information helps..
Thanks and regards. Dr.Honey Nandwani Arora.
