Hello and welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.

I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

The information you have given is incomplete like age, gender, and location of the mole is not mentioned. Any change in size, shape, color, elevation or any new symptom such as bleeding, itching or crusting are taken as warning signs of melanoma.

You are advised to consult a dermatologist for proper clinical examination and to rule out cancerous change in the mole.

Hope this answers your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Mohammed Taher Ali
