Hello,

Very likely you are having a lipoma. A lipoma is a fat collection under the skin and that may grow quite a lot causing a big lump. This is not a dangerous condition and most of the time does not need any treatment.

If it is very big and the patient wants it removed it can easily be removed in the doctor's office with local anesthesia.

I hope this answers your query.
I remain at your disposal for further medical assistance.
