Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of continuous sound in the ear which is known as tinnitus which isn't a condition itself but it's a symptom of an underlying condition, such as age-related hearing loss, ear injury, temporomandibular dysfunction or a circulatory system disorder. Need not to worry. You should avoid touching or pricking ear. I would suggest you to consult ENT specialist for proper examination and to find out exact cause. Doctor may order certain tests like audiological test , rushing test, high and low pitched test. Doctor may prescribe tricyclic antidepressants , alprazolam and devices like hearing aids and masking devices.

Hope your concern has been resolved.
