What Causes A Constant Burned Grease/fat Like Smell In The Nose?
For the past few days I ve had a constant background smell in my nose. It smells like burned grease/fat. I woke in the night with it, thinking I d left the oven on. Its been there ever since. Also, now and again I get a trickle of really foul tasting liquid in the back of my throat. That particular symptom has been around for a few months but this background smell thing is new. I m really worried as i ve never had this before.

this different kind of smell may be due to something stuck in ur nose deeply or some extent of mucosal damage .
u need clear examination of ur nose and throat clinically and may be by endoscope.
