What Causes A Boil Near The Nipple?
Hi,I am 28 yr old female and about a week ago or so I discovered this BIG pimple like thing right by my nipple and when I squeezed it a tad blood came out and clear liquid and now it is more of a purple red color so am assuming that means its going away. Now I do shave in that area since I get hairs around my nipple so could this be what caused it?

Hello, Yes, shaving can cause ingrown hairs to fester and cause a boil. It is best not to shave in that area if you can avoid it
