What Causes A Blue Coloured Bruise On The Foot?
I have an area of my foot that has a four by six bruise spot that is a not painful and seems to clear up somewhat after soaking it in warm water. However it always returns. It is on a top area just forward of the ankle. It is a very very deep blue color. Any help would be appreciated, thank you.

Blue coloration under the skin may be caused by many things.
1. Hematoma due to injury or abnormal bleeding under the skin
2. Non specific dermatitis
3. Blue Nevus
4. Melanoma
Try to apply topical corticosteroid. So soon biopsy to confirm the diagnosis consult dermatologist.
