Hi,
Suggestive of
subconjunctival hemorrhage. After having gone through the history I am of the opinion that you have some sort of bleeding underneath the clear surface of your eye (conjunctiva).
The conjunctiva can not absorb blood very quickly, so the blood gets trapped and appears as dark red stain in the white part of your eye.
This condition commonly occurs without any obvious harm to the eye.
Violent coughing, powerful sneezing, straining or
vomiting are some of the actions that may cause a small blood vessel to rupture.
It may also be associated with roughly rubbing the eye, trauma,
high blood pressure,
diabetes, certain blood-thinning medications, such as
warfarin or aspirin and blood-clotting disorders.
Usually, it is a harmless condition that disappears within two weeks or so. However, you may use certain eye drops such as 'artificial tears' to soothe any scratchy feeling you have in your eye.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
