What Causes UTI During Consumption Of Pepto Bismal?

I have been diagnosed with microscopic colitis and have been treating a recent recurrence with Pepto Bismal. It was helping to control the diarrehea. While on vacation I contracted a UTI and my doctor prescribed Amoxycillin ... which has diarrehea as a side effect. Should I continue the Pepto Bismal while taking the Amoxycillin?

You have UTI because of urinary stone or not maintaining good hygiene. Keep the genital area clean and dry. Change your underwear twice a day. Avoid sweat accumulation. Drink plenty of water.
