Hi,
C. Dificile is a normal bacteria of your guts, but it is usually limited by other bacteria growing there. Now, it happens sometimes that after a treatment woth antibiotics or other cinditions, the balance between these bacteria is disrupted, and c. dificile multiplies uninhibited bur other bacteria.
It is usually treated with Metronidazol or Vancomycin.
It is important to have an antibiogram done to understand how sensitive the bacteria is to treatment, and then procede based on the results.

C. difficile that is sensitive to antiobitics is treated with no problems .
I hope I have answered your question.
Wish you good health.
