Thank you. I had Brights disease at the age of four yrs old. My parents told me the Dr. said it was caused by a chill. My treatment was to have 4 quarts of dairy products daily, ten minutes of sun bathing, never to be served strong tea. My question is what is considered the real cause. Does it have anything to do with caffeine which I didn t have at 4 yrs of age. I do believe a chill in the back offsets a bladder or kidney infection. and have had those problems sometimes over the years. This was in the yr. 1929 and of course I am very elderly now but am still mystified.
