What Caused A Huge Lump Into A Dent On Face Due To An Injury?
Hello Doc,My 5 year old son fell down and hit his face on the ground. This was on 28th of Nov 2014 and after 15 days we noticed a huge lump which has gone down mostly but he has a dent on the cheeks now and it shows up when he smiles.I am worried about the dent. will it go away & how long it will take?Thanks,Mom

I really appreciate your concern, if you have not done any imaging study then it is advisable to get it done as long as injury is concern, because this would for to rule out the underlying fracture part and other muscular, soft tissue injury, if the dent is due to the injury then soon it would come around else clinical examination is needed, take care, have a nice day.
