Listen Dr. I have been getting severe headaches for the past 5days. I drink adcodols almost everyday but its not helping. Along these headaches i get dizzy, i feel nauseous and sometimes the reflection of a light when i open my eyes from a nap makes it worse. Also my back hurts, i dont know if that is related too, so what do you think the problem is?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Brief Answer: The cause of the symptoms is more likely to be migraine,
without excluding other causes.
Detailed Answer:
Many things can cause the combination of these symptoms, headache, dizziness, nausea and back pain, reflection of a light when you open the eyes, from dehydration to anxiety.
Migraines are a common cause of headache pain and and other complaints you have.
A headache with dizziness can sometimes indicate a medical emergency that requires immediate treatment.
The effectiveness of different treatments tends to vary from person to person, so it’s a good idea to work with your doctor to find a treatment that works best for you.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Enton Dore, General & Family Physician
