What Can Cause Metallic Smelling Stool And Abdominal Pain In A Toddler?
My three and a half year old has been having loose foul metallic smelling stool for about a month or so. Before she has a bowel movement she complains that her stomach and bum hurt. Her stools are loose to soft consistency. She just had her yearly doctors appointment and the doctor didn't say she heard or felt anything when checking her stomach

As there is complaint of pain abdomen , bum and there is metallic smell of stool, there can be a bleeding in intestine of child. I will suggest to undergo stool examination and ultrasound abdomen.
