86 YEAR OLD MALE FEELING DIZZY, FEELS PRESSURE ON HEART, FACE A LITTLE SWOLLEN AND ALITTLE RED, SNEEZED A COUPLE A TIMES AND CONFUSED. BLOOD PRESSURE 144 OVER 74. NO MEDS TAKEN NOW ONLY VITAMINS. IN PAST YEARS WAS ON HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE MEDICINE. BLOOD WORK LAST WEEK GREAT BUT DR SAID ONLY A LITTLE HIGH COLERESTORAL.

Hi,

You need to check your serum Free T3, Free T4 and TSH to exclude hypothyroidism in view of the puffy face and high cholesterol. Get also X-ray chest done to exclude any pericardial effusion, as the first-line investigation, as it can occur with hypothyroidism.
