What Can Cause Dark Colored Semi Solid Stools?

Got really dark black coloured semi solid stools today. I had some signature whiskey last night and few slices of dark chocolate cake. I am afraid of gastrointestinal bleeding. Having a little gas too and a very slight pain in lower abdomen. What could be the reason for dark coloured stools? It s the first time I ate so much of cake. Male 22

Dark colored stools and abdominal pain with semi solid stools sigify Gastro Intestinal lesion that has bled. In case of some kind of bascillary dysenry too some of such symptoms coincide but then frequency of stools would be more .

Please stop spicy and heavy food. Start taking little cold milk frequentaly. Be very light at food. If bleeding repeats get the tests done for stools and GIT.

Hope it helps you.
