What Can Cause Cough And Chest Pain While On Dialysis?
I've been getting a bad cough about 3 hours into my 4 hour dialysis treatment. With pflim (spelling sorry). Today my chest was also hurting. These issues last for about an hour after dialysis. Dialysis nurses don't have an answer for me. any ideas what causing this?

Usually cough in such cases are due to fluid overload because of the renal dysfunction, which can probably lead to lung infection. Discuss with your doctor and get a chest X-ray done.
