What Can Be The Reason For Lack Of Growth In The Fetus?

Dear doctor my wife sajitha become pregnant and last period was 29/5/2011 the second urine test was coducted on 28/7/2011 and be positive but on a scan at lakshmi hospital on 25/7/2011 adviced to a follow up of two weeks but on a test at priyadarsini doctor of thankam hospital said that there is no growth and no chance of pregnancy can we wait for some days

Hi, I have gone through your question and understand your concerns. Poor growth of the fetus is suggestive of missed abortion.Moreover, if there is no cardiac activity the diagnosis of missed abortion.
I would suggest you to consult an OBGYN specialist and get termination of pregnancy by medical or surgical method if missed abortion is confirmed.
