Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi, thanks for asking.
I can understand your concerns. In my opinion you should sit and discuss his point of view about what he wants to do in life and how. Discuss with him his short term goals and long term goals. Help him to decide what he wants to pursue as a hobby and what he wants to pursue as a career. You should sincerely try to understand his point of view. Also you need to talk to him that spending all the time on the net will not get him to his goal.
He would benefit with an aptitude test and interest inventory test for the career guidance.
I hope I have helped you.
Thank you
