What Are The Uses And Side Effects Of Yamini Tablets?

I m married 2 months back and 28 yrs of age I always hav a regular period.of five days first 3 days normal flow then 2 days spotting... but this month my period started and continued for 10 days and were not stopping. ..so my doc prescribed me yamini tablets for 21 days..... is it safe to take this tablet....

Hi! Yamini tab contains ethinyl estradiol 0.03mg and drospirenone 3mg. It is essentially an oral contraceptive (birth control pill). In your case your doctor is using it to regulate your periods. If you have to fall back on it routinely you'll have to get your hormone levels evaluated. All the best!
