What Are The Uses And Side Effects Of Gilenya Medication?

Hi. My brother has MS. He is on Gilenya, and for the most part, it seems to be working well for him. One thing seems to continue - he is convinced he has something other than MS. His doctor has run countless tests for every type of complaint or suspicion he has. All have, of course, come back negative but he still believes there is something wrong with him that is not MS. Is this common? I don t even know now what questions to ask his doctor.

MS is an auto-immune disease of the nervous system. Signs of immune reaction to the immune system is a sstrong indiecator of MS:
signs of broken down nerves in the spinal fluid (myelin basic protein)
signs of immune attack of the brain and/or spine on MRI
Response to steroids and MS drugs.
Asking if these have been done/seen/demonstrated are some questions.
Other diseases include syphillis, lyme disease, other autoimmune diseases such as lupus. Seeing if these other diseases have been considered and/or tested for.
