What Are The Treatments Post Surgery For Chari Malformation ?

Hello, my name is Cathy. My son had Chari malformation and had to have surgery because the form he had was blocking the flow of his spinal fluid. My question is would he be able to lead a normal life? He wanted to join the Navy but is have such a hard time because of the surgery.
