What Are The Symptoms Of Potential Arthritis?

About 3 days ago I went for a 30 minutes brisk walking. Later on the on the same day the side of my left ribcage started to get a little painfull. The next day it got worse. I did some stretching after the walking and maybe I pushed it too far. I am taking some painkillers but It doesn't seem to be done anything. The pain feels like arthritis. Please help.

Welcome to healthcaremagic,
It appears that you have costochondritis, that is inflammation of ribs. My advice for you is:
1. Apply some local heat using hot water bag to the area 3 to 4 times a day.
2. Ibuprofen after food 3 times a day for 5 days.
3. Give some rest to the area and avoid exercise and stretching exercise for a couple of days.
Hope that answers your question,
Regards, Dr.Imaad.
