What Are The Symptoms Of Ochronosis?

I am an African American female with a medium complexion. I have darkness around my mouth after I stopped using HQ. whenever I use a lightening cream the brown this goes away. When I stopped using it a comes back. Do I have ochronosis? I want to start using Kojic acid

Hi

Long term use on hydroquinone can surely lead to permanent pigmentation of the skin .
You should avoid using this agent over your skin in future.
Start application of kojic acid cream over the pigmented areas of face twice daily .
Use a medicated sunscreen with spf more than 26 over the face before going out in the sun.
Take oral vitamin c supplements.
