What Are The Symptoms Of Diabetes In A Child?

My son (who has celiac disease) has been urinating a lot (5+ times an hour). My husband is a type 1 diabetic and we ve been alarmed with his urinating. We checked his blood which is at 8.8 (we re in Canada). This is before meal as well. He is 2.5 years old and toilet trained.

The condition of diabetes can be easily diagnosed with blood sugar levels.Problem of polyuria may be due to other conditions also like U.T.I.Go for his complete urine examination also.
