What Are The Symptoms Of Colon Cancer?

hello my dad had a ct scan he has feces coming through his penis and found out it is diverticulitis which formed a fistula in his bladder. giving him antibiotics and should clear it up. However if it doesn t will go see a general surgeon. my concern is he has kidney renal failure and has tubes in his kidneys and bags for his urine. could this possibly be colon cancer?

thanks for your question, cancers are generally more prevalant in elder ages,colon cancer is one of such ,symptoms are quite evident to diagnose colon cancer,
1.Intestinal obstruction:due to obstruction of the colon by the tumour
2.Trenesmus: feeling of incomplete evacuation of feces
3.Hematochesia:presence of frank blood in feces
4.considerable weight loss

these are the main symptoms of colon cancer,a surgeons consultation is required to confirm any such conditions, surgeon will conduct some manual investigations like per rectal examination ,and colonoscopy if required.
