General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Parkinson’s typically is a disease where there is slowing down of body motor functions. You may notice slowing of gait while walking, decreased expression on the face, more rigid muscles and tremors in the hands. A form of dementia is associated with Parkinson’s, where one can start forgetting.

The other causes of forgetting are aging, Alzheimer’s and some other forms of dementia. I would suggest you not worry as people can often get turned around while doing their job. If you are concerned, you could get a screening done for dementia. Which is questionnaire based.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Pranav Balakrishnan, General & Family Physician
