What Are The Symptoms Of Lyme Disease?

I just removed an a deer tick that was firmly attached to my rib area. It might have been there for more than 24 hours. All I know is that it was not where i found it yesterday morning. There is a brown/red circular area on my skin and I am very concerned about lime disease (our back yard is full of deer from the county park. Is there any medication i should take to prevent it now?
