What Are The Symptoms And Treatment For Appendicitis?

Yes, thank you. I fear I may be having an appendix issue. Over the last week I have been nauseous, hiccup for a long time if I do eat. Sometimes feel nauseous. Last night actually through up. My urine is extremely foul smelling and taking a deep breath makes it hurt. I have also noticed when my husband pushed on it, it felt like a thousand needles.

Hi,
If you had a foul smelling urine then it could be due to urinary tract Infetion or pelvic inflammatory disease or acute cystitis etc.
Nausea or hiccough could be present in acute appendicitis but anorexia is the classical symptom of it.
I think you must undergo routine blood counts, urine analysis and ultrasound of abdomen to make the diagnosis confirmed.
You must see surgeon for complete medical history and thoroughly clinical examination rather than just guessing yourself what could be the problem.
Treatment is mainly depend upon the underlying cause but meanwhile you can take analgesics and antiinflammatories.
