What Are The Small Painful Bumps On My Soles?

Small sore bumps on the bottom of my foot. Painful. They appear to be able to sometime come to a head and erupt. One last night...now 7. Runnnibg a swath from the heal and across the arch of the underside of righty foot. Hurts...difficult to walk on it. It is out of the blue ....I walk a couple of miles a day. Just returned from Paris early last week where i walked a lot during the week there. Any ideas?

Dermatologist 's  Response
Hi

The kind of lesions you have over your feet could be either corns or plantar warts .
Both of these can present with development of raised firm and painful round lesions over the feet .
It is important to distinguish between the two and reach a particular diagnosis since viral warts are contagious in nature .
See your nearby dermatologist for proper assessment and treatment.
