What Are The Signs And Symptoms Of A Sciatic Nerve Pain?

I have a sensation on the back of my left thigh going down into foot, especially when sitting that feels like the leg is asleep and has bad cirulation. Could this be sciatic nerve pain? I first noticed it when sitting on toilet, it felt like my leg had gone to sleep . Now I feel the sensation while sitting all day. It is not a pain but just a discomfort. Could losing weight help? I have gained a few too many pounds lately.

Apparently what you are suffering from is neuropathic pain. I would suggest you consult your physician to rule out any nerve root compression.
Yes losing weight would definatley help. So go ahead, shed a few pounds...All the best...!
